Dear Editors, authors and readers, With the year 2020 coming to an end, it will be a full decade that I have been serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Neurochemistry. It has been a very exciting time with many challenges, as the scientific publishing world has changed a lot during these years. In this time, the Editorial Office has received close to 10,000 manuscripts and published some 2,700 articles, over 400 Reviews, and about 200 Editorial items, in addition to almost 5,000 meeting abstracts.
