acetone > ethyl acetate > n -propyl acetate > isopropyl acetate > butyl acetate > n -amyl alcohol > isobutyl alcohol > sec -butanol > n -butanol > methanol > n -propanol > ethanol > isopropyl alcohol. It was found that the dissolution property of 5,6-dimethoxy-1-indanone was related to the solvent properties including solvent polarity, hydrogen-bond donor propensity, and cohesive energy density. Furthermore, four thermodynamic models consisting of the modified Apelblat equation, van’t Hoff equation, λh equation, and NRTL model were used to correlate experimental data and all showed good fitting accuracy.]]>
