Maghreb Steel loses 5% in sales in 2020 amid pandemic challenges

Maghreb Steel, the sole integrated flat steel producer in Morocco, posted expectedly weaker results in 2020 due to the challenging start of the year. However, the gradual recovery of the steel market in H2 in terms of both price and demand after the pandemic-hit spring curbed the negative dynamics. Although COVID?19 paralyzed normal life in Morocco for a significant part of H1 2020, Maghreb Steel managed to curb its influence on annual sales revenue and volumes.
