摘要

A volatile-producing endophytic fungus, PDL-005, with bio-fumigation activity was isolated from leaves of the medicinal plant Peperomia dindygulensis. PDL-005 showed an inhibitory efficacy or fungicidal ability against Penicillium digitatum Cmep1-3. The PDL-005 endophyte was identified as Nodulisporium sp. based on the morphology and ITS nucleotides. Testing different ingredients revealed that bagasse was the best material to produce active compounds, which exhibited good efficacy against the test pathogen. GC-MS analysis revealed that 2ethyl-2-hexenal and 2,4-dimethyl-1,3-cyclopentanedione is the primary compound contributing to the inhibitory capability on radial growth of the pathogen. Moreover, PDL-005 cultured in bagasse reduced green mold incidences on orange markedly, sometimes up to a 100.0% reduction. Thus, PDL-005 could be potentially used as a bioagent to control postharvest disease caused by P. digitatum.
