Apprenticeships are key

Property and construction consultancy Ingleton Wood announced plans to double the number of apprentices to help invest in local skills and the economic recovery from the pandemic. The announcement was made amid 2021 National Apprenticeship Week's renewed calls for more young people to enter construction. The Construction Industry Training Board says more than 1,000 new architects alone are needed each year to meet demand.
