Iraq to start work on Jordan oil export pipeline soon

Nicosia, Cyprus—Iraq could start building the first leg of a planned $18 billion oil-export pipeline from Basra in southern Iraq to the Jordanian port of Aqaba on the Red Sea, within months, an Iraqi official close to the project said Wednesday.
