Pertamina takes 15% stake in Babar Selaru block

Tokyo—Japan’s largest upstream company Inpex has reached an agreement to sell a 15% interest in its wholly-owned Babar Selaru Block offshore Indonesia to Indonesian state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina, Inpex said May 14. An Inpex spokesman declined to disclose the value of the transaction, which is subject to certain conditions including approval from the Indonesian government.
