Moscow—The pressure on Russian oil pro-ducer Bashneft and the legality of its owner-ship of a license to develop the major Trebsand Titov oil fields in northern Russia hasintensified after a minority shareholder in thecompany filed a lawsuit with a Moscow courtseeking to annul the license.The minority shareholder submitted theclaim March 14 and a preliminary hearing hasbeen set for May 4, the court said, though itdid not say on what grounds the shareholderfiled the lawsuit.
