Anglo-Suisse Linked to Spill

The US Coast Guard has said oil coming ashore along a small section of the Louisiana coastline has been linked to a well owned and operated by Anglo-Suisse Offshore Part ners. However, the Houston-based company disputes the claim. Coast Guard Capt. Jonathan Burton said tests conducted by Louisiana State University (LSU) and the Coast Guard confirmed that the oil on the beach matches oil from Anglo-Suisse's West Delta 117 well. That well is located about 30 miles offshore.
