Enquest Lowers Output Goal, Cuts Costs

UK North Sea-focused EnQuest posted a mixed bag of first-half results Thursday, lowering its full-year production guidance - despite a 43% jump in output so far - due to a slow ramp-up at the Alma/Galia field (IOD Mar.18'16). The company saw first-half production of 42,500 boe/d but revised down its earlier 2016 target from 44,000-48,000 boe/d to 42,000-44,000 boe/d.
