摘要

The nonlinear dynamic behaviors displayed by the switched-inductor Buck-Boost converter operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) are analyzed in this paper. The occurrences of the complex behavior, such as period-double bifurcation, border-collision bifurcation, chaos, etc. generated by varying the circuits are investigated through numerical analysis in the MATLAB environment. Through time-domain waveform, the performance of switched-inductor Buck-Boost converter utilizing a compensating ramp current has been investigated. The results indicate that the switched-inductor Buck-Boost converter can shift from DCM to CCM (continuous conduction mode) and operate in steady period-one state by utilizing ramp compensation. The results have been verified experimentally.
