Turkish cement makers expect the Ministry of Economy to ac?cept a change to legislation to allow the import of up to 3pc sulfur coals, after the Environmental Ministry approved the change. Many cement producers are now confident that any poten?tial change in legislation to increase the sulphur threshold on imported thermal coal will apply to the cement sector, not just energy.
