Continued strength in the European thermal coal market is expected to support Suncoke Energy’s logistics business through 2020, the company said yesterday. “If you look at where the API 2 pricing is today, it is pretty healthy as far as a net back to our customers,” Suncoke Chief Financial Officer Fay West said. “And then if you just look at what the forward market looks like for 2019 and 2020, where API 2 is pricing, it remains pretty healthy. And so we would anticipate that the volumes through the facility will remain healthy as well."
