An analysis of the influence of the inductor module parameters on the degree of the edge effect manifestation in a linear induction motor

Results of investigations of a multimodule linear induction motor are presented, analytical expressions for the induction in the operating gap of the second and the subsequent motor modules and the propulsion strength are given taking into account a magnetic tail from the previous module. An analysis of the influence of the neighboring module parameters on the degree of the edge effect manifestation is presented.
