Automatic frequency loab shedding in power systems

摘要

The paper considers principles of under frequency load shedding of power systems. A new method for calculating the reduction in frequency under the deficit of generation and the action of under frequency load shedding is presented. The choice offrequency load shedding settings in accordance with the new method makes it possible to tune automation to the minimum frequency deviation under emergency conditions.
