Normalization of the levels of higher harmonic voltages in high voltage networks

The paper considers examples of normalizing the levels of higher harmonic voltages in 110-220 kV networks： at the connection node of a large nonlinear load - Bratsk aluminium plant and at connection nodes of a distributed consumer - traction substation of the East Sibirian railway at the section Lena- Taksimo. The results of measuring the electric power quality indices connected with high harmonic as well as the results of calculations and an analysis of the parameters of high harmonic regimes are given. Variants of filters for normalizing electric power quality indices are proposed.
