Phase error of instrument transformer converters

摘要

An analysis of systematic phase errors of air transformers used in measuring circuits for shaping voltage dephased with respect to current at π/2 is carried out. Sources of errors are winding resistances, distributed interturn and interwindingcapacitances and the finite value of a load resistance. Ways and methods for reducing and taking into account these errors and their influence on a series resistance in an equivalent circuit of a two-terminal which is measured, are discussed.
