A new method is proposed for deriving analytical expressions for the currents and voltages of a synchronous generator in the vicinity of the time t- 0 after loading on. The most general case is discussed, when, before loading on, the generatoroperates under load and has damping cells along both axes. The analytical expressions for the currents and the voltages are represented in the form of power series for the time t.
