Large particle method efficiency in a test

摘要

The article discusses comparative solutions of gas flow test task using commercial software package Star-CD and (Russian make) large particle method. The latter is shown as simpler and less demanding in terms of computer resources, being not inferior in precision of gas-dynamic flow simulation. Therefore, large particle method may be recommended for use in refinement of engine breathing system.
