Integrated mechanization and automation of manufacture of welded railway cars of a bunker type

摘要

The paper deals with advanced processes of fabrication of welded metal structures for hopper-type carriages and process equipment applied for their implementation. Mechanization and automation of the most labour-consuming operations allows a significant improvement of the labour efficiency and reduction of the cost of carriage manufacture. The described designs of process equipment may be widely used in many mechanical engineering plants in performance of assembly-welding operations.
