摘要

The peculiarities of submerged arc hardfacing with a feeding of dead filler into the head part of the welding pool are considered. Such process is characterized by an active mass exchange. It was experimentally established that the increase in arelative mass of the dead filler increases the coefficients of transition of alloying elements, stabilizes the chemical and phase composition of the multilayer hardfacing, reduces the flux consumption and the specific consumption of the energy.
