Analysis of emission from printed circuit board with finite ground plane using MTL model

摘要

In order to estimate the radiation from a printed circuit board with a finite ground plane, it should be considered that he common mode current excited on the PCB. One of the calculation methods of the common mode current on the PCB is the multi-conductor transmission lines method. This paper suggests the new method using some dependent voltages at the terminal point since the common mode current and terminal voltage are the proportional relationship. The calculation results of new MTL and of the FDTD method are similar tendency and that method can be roughly estimation of the common mode current.
