Water-Pumping Characteristics of the Electric Gas-Life Pump

The air-lift pump is presently being considered a method for recovering useful mineral resources from the deep-sea floor. However, with the present technology, its use is limited to a depth of 3000 m. For recvoery from greater depth, use of the electrolytic gas-lift pump can be considered, but design standards for its use of this purpose have yet to be established. The aim of this study is to conduct a theoretical analysis of the water-pumping charactreistics of the electrolytic gas-lift pump and to verify experimentally the usefunless of the analysis.
