摘要

The process of laser welding of porous powder metallurgical titanium parts with each other and with compact titanium parts was investigated. The welding was carried out by Nd:/AG pulse-periodic laser (#lambda#=1.06 #mu#m). It was shown that preliminary mechanical treatment of porous surfaces improves the quality of the weld. It was established that high-quality weld can be fabricated due to laser welding which is executed without use of shielding gas medium and adding materials. The optimum conditions of welding process were determined.
