Two Maryland scrap executives have pleaded guilty to charges of bribing a National Security Administration (NSA) official to sell the federal agency’s scrap to their company. U.S. District Court Judge Richard D. Bennett ordered Adam Wayne Berg, 49, treasurer of Berg Brothers Recycling Co., Baltimore, to serve six months in prison and a year of parole stemming from the guilty plea. He also must perform 100 hours of community service after his jail term, pay a 30,000 dollars fine and 104,989.84 dollars in restitution to the federal government.
