摘要

The growing of two winter wheat cultivars under water stress conditions results in the decrease of total protein, nucleic acids and cytokinins content and aminoacyl-tRNA-synthetase activity. At the same time proteolytic activity and free amino acid pool is increasing. Antistress chemical cartolin-2 abolishes the influence of water stress. It is established that protective influence of cartolin is connected not only with direct activation of protein synthesis but also with stimulation of synthesis of cytokinins, which in their turn activate the protein synthesis.
