摘要

The development of the metacestode of Lateriporus clerci (Johnston, 1921) in Gammarus lacustris is described. Features such as cyst formation at the end of metacestode morphogenesis suggest that this type of larvocyst belongs to the archaic cysticercoids Cyclophyllidea. The absence of a lacuna primitiva, 2 layers of cyst walls, a vast amniotic cavity, evaginatic scolex and development of the sphincter (or valve) around the cyst aperture are characteristic of cysticercoids. The amniotic cavity occupied by the evaginatic scolex is the supporting structure of the cysticercoid cyst. In the cysticercus this function belongs to the lacuna primitiva.
