摘要

The acid-base parameters in moose and reindeer vary during a year that indicates a poor alkalosis in summer and intense metabolic acidosis in winter. The K+ concentration and anion gap in blood serum of animals increase in winter by 0.7-0.9 and 10-14 mmol/L, respectively. The main cause of the metabolic acidosis in wild ruminants is a gastrointestinal loss of K+ with faces under the low level of consuming this element with fodder. This acidosis has no respiratory compensation and has poor buffering and renal compensation. The compensation of winter metabolic acidosis is provided by the gastrointestinal tract of the animals, where H+ is excreted in the course of Na+/H+ exchange and can be clinirated from of organism as chemically binded compounds.
