The result of initial on-orbit checkout for global imager (GLI) on ADEOS-II satellite

GLI is an optical sensor on board ADEOS-II satellite which was launched on H-IIA Flight no.4, GLI can observe reflectance and earth radiation in 36 spectral channels from UV to IR with 1600km swath This paper describes GLI on-orbit initial checkout result through April 2003.
