摘要

The human psychological response to noise stimulus includes the fuzziness caused by the subjective judgment. And the psychological response excited by specific noise stimulus depends upon various factors such as the frequency hand width and the dynamic range of the noise. The above fact has been well-known as the so-called context effect. In this paper, taking account of the fuzziness and the context effect for human sense, a method for predicting the psychological response caused by meaningful voice noise in the case of listening to speech, is proposed by using the fuzzy sets theory. Hereupon, how the context effect produced by the change of the dynamic range of signal to noise ratio is first considered experimentally. Next, the uni-variate membership function was established on the universe of the signal to noise ratio. Finally, the method for predicting the psychological response is proposed by using the concept of the fuzzy probability.
