Effect of fuel N and temperature for N{sub}2O formation and decomposition

摘要

N{sub}2O (Nitrous Oxide) is one of greenhouse effect gas and it is said that N{sub}2O has the warming capacity about 270 times as large as that of CO{sub}2 and its life time in atmosphere is long (about 100 to 200 years) and stable. It is said that the artificial formation of N{sub}2O is about 20 % of total amount, however, it is increased by 10 % in half of a century. It is pointed out that "Fuel N" has much influence on formation of N{sub}2O with combustion. However, according to the past articles that simulated by premixed flame (methane & air), it is pointed out that temperature and pressure, not "Fuel N", have more influence on N{sub}2O formation. Moreover, it is said that the cause of N{sub}2O formation is mainly reaction of NO{sub}x, SO{sub}x and H{sub}2O in the flue or sampling ducts more than at combustion place. In this research, for the purpose of obtaining basic data, The N{sub}2O concentration profiles from rather plane premixed flame and diffusion flame under the condition of adding NH{sub}3 is investigated together with flame temperature and OH concentration.
