Ebara's stoker firing system for municipal waste incineration plants, utilized by 2 Towns Sanitation Association of Inazawa City, is equipped with a steam turbine power generation unit. Its main components comprise 3 incinerators (capacity: 60 t/24 hours) and a bulky waste crushing/shredding facility (capacity: 50 t/day). Dioxin emission is sufficiently controlled to below 0.1 ng·TEQ/m{sup}3 (NTP) by blowing activated carbon into the flue gas and utilizing a low temperature bag filter. Excess heat from the incinerators is recovered and used for power generation.
