A study of the application of microphone array to tele-education systems

摘要

We studied a tele-education system using talker-tracking microphone array. The talker-tracking microphone array achieves high-quality sound acquisition- and allows talking in any position by detecting a talker's location and steering its sharply directional beam to the talker. In the experiments, the microphone array is compared with other microphones. From these results, it is clarified that the talker-tracking microphone array is effective fo: tele-education systems.
