摘要

Results are presented of investigations of AC drives made according the "direct frequency converter - induction motor" system (DFC-IM) for the main mechanisms of excavators. Results of testing of different schemes of these drives with the DFC-IM system in different configurations are given; oscillograms are presented of the system operation when controlling the frequency from 0 to 50 Hz using a two-step dependent intensity setter with the synchronization with the network at 50Hz, A draft design is developed for the modernization of EKG-8 excavator electric drives to implement the DFC-IM system on the basis of PTEM-2R modular converters.
