Paso channel: TV program personalization by S-XML with content-integration capability

摘要

Previously, we have developed the Scripting-XML (S-XML) to describe Web content which can be viewed like a TV-program. In this paper, we propose a new version of S-XML, called S-XML2, whose major features are as follows: (1) It is possible to play the S-XML2 content for a variety of playing environment such as TVML and SMIL, (2) Descriptions of content itself and its style are separated. (3) Multiple stream-type contents including S-XML2 content can be integrated into a personalized program by pre-scripta of S-XML2. The integration of several multimedia assets bring us the personalized TV program viewing.
