The handover characteristic in the mobile network using the route automatic configuration router

摘要

The route automatic configuration network and the authentication server were made to cooperate, and the mobile network which realizes high security and a high-speed handover performance was examined. We considered network architecture and made network edge equipment (route automatic configuration router) which is a main component, an authentication server, and terminal software experimentally. And we measured communication disruption time by handover on the evaluation system which used commercial wireless-LAN equipment for the access network. It confirmed that communication disruption time by handover is short enough and did not affect operation of high layer application using the various transport protocol, UDP and TCP.
