Liquidation of sinter plants: the efficient method of cardinal improvement of ecological situation at metallurgical works

Expecting changes of the basic smelting parameters during transition of the blast furnaces to the work conditions with usage of 100 percent pellets in charge materials are considered on the example of reconstruction of ore preparation division at 《Severstal》 works, in order to eliminate environmentally dangerous sinter production. It is supposed to utilize iron-containing wastes of current production via their blowing-in the blast furnace hearth.
