バルサルタン/シルニジピン配合錠 (ァテディ才⑧配合錠）への切り替え効果を日常診療 において検討するためのレ卜ロスぺクティブ試験

Background The augmentation of antihypertensive effect will be expected by switching to valsartan-cilnidipine combination tablet (ATEDIO? Combination Tab.), but yet there is no report on this issue in the real world. Method The hypertensive patients who were twenty years and over, and had been administered valsartan-cilnidipine combination tablets for over 8 weeks during from May 2014 to July 2015. Study design Single-center, retrospective, self-controlled study. The primary outcome was systolic blood pressure, and secondary outcomes were diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate. Two or three outcome values of a patient during from14 weeks before switching to the switching time were compared to an outcome value during from 8 weeks to14 weeks after switching by using mixed effects models. Results With the switching to valsartan-cilnidipine combination tablet, there was a 9.3 (4.3-14.2) mmHg reduction く0.001) in office systolic blood pressure and a 4.5 (1.4—7.6) mmHg reduction (P=0.005) in diastolic blood pressure. There was non-significant change of 0.7 (一1.9—3.3) beats/min (P=0.593) in pulse rate. Conclusion Due to the switching to valsartan-cilnidipine combination tablet, the possibilities of the augmentation of antihypertensive effect were shown in the study results.
