The state of art in neutronography investigations ofcondensed matter with the IBR-2, reactor in the Frank Laboratoryof Neutron Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research isoutlined. Details of the operation of the reactor and itsinstrumentation suit are discussed. The results obtained in a fewrecent years are reviewed in brief.
