摘要

Structural design and construction of the temporary steel roof of the TL21LNG storage tank are described, and the selection of a material that is durable against low temperatures of -90°C is also discussed. Moreover, the buckling characteristicsof the steel roof with low rise and low rigidity were analyzed. The safety factor for the buckling load was set at 20 for analyses, and the safety factor of 20 was confirmed at each erection process. The roof construction using wire supports forinstalling heat insulation and membrane, pressure control during air support, and measurement of steel roof transformation at the time of construction is discussed together with the construction flow.
