The open-ended restangular waveguide: usage of solution for a parallel-plate waveguide

On the basis of the stringent solution of a diffraction problem for the open end of parallel-plate waveguides with H{sub}(01) and E{sub}(00) modes, analytical dependences on the geometrical dimensions reflectance wavelength, gain and aperture efficiency of the open-ended rectangular waveguide with the H{sub}(10) mode are obtained. The calculation curved lines are in good accordance with precision measurement data up to experimental errors.
