PHENOMENON OF UNBALANCED ROTORS SELF-SYNCHRONIZATION AND ITS APPLICATION IN DESIGN OF SCREENS AND OTHER VIBRATION MACHINES

History of development of mechanical vibrating exciters self-synchronization theory is briefly described, its present state and practical experience of this phenomenon application in vibration machines, in particular, screens, are analyzed. Physical basis and main regularities of self-synchronization are considered. Main postulates for theory, design and analysis of machines with self-synchronizing vibrating exciters are described. Special attention is paid to the case of considerable energy dissipation in oscillating part of system; this case is characteristic, in particular, for heavily loaded screens.
