An automated system Pastukh (Shepherd) for motor transport. supervision is described. The system is intended for recording, storing and processing information about route and the condition of its supervised zones along the route. The systemprocesses the data obtained from navigation satellites NAVSTAR and from the sensors set on hauling units. It allows precise detection of all deviations from the route, unplanned stops, and an unauthorized access to the freight. The system uses virtualstandards of freight routs. The standard route database is filled automatically at the initial stage of system commissioning.
