摘要

As our society becomes more high tech and more information-orientated at an enormous rate, it is necessary for the number of clocks for a computer's CPU to increase. Due to this fact, the demand for power supply circuit driving CPUs (VRM) has been for lower voltage, higher current, and faster response characteristics. In order to attain fast-response characteristics, increasing the switching frequency and decreasing value of the choke coil inductance is known to be quite effective. In this paper, Technical Trend of High Speed Response Control Methods for Voltage Regulator Module is described. And we investigated the control characteristics of the voltage mode and the current mode control methods.
