摘要

The spiral wave on 2-dimensional excitable FHN model transits its center (core) to other place by an instantaneous stimulus applied homogeneously to the media. We analyzed this mechanism by using of the concepts of the phase response curve and the phase singularity. Defining the phase for cells supporting a spiral wave, the core can be said to be in phase singularity. Then, we can say the core transits to a new singular point caused by the stimulus, and that the singular point is located on the boundary of cells having 0-type PTC and those of 1-type PTC. We confirmed these by the computer simulation.
