It is a great honor and pleasure for me to serve as the new editor of the Journal of Quality Technology (JQT). Thanks to the excellent work carried out by all the previous editors, JQT has been, for the past 50 years, the flagship journal for practitioners and scientists who are interested in solving real-world problems dealing with quality. Today, I believe that we can look forward to the future with the ambition of maintaining or even increasing the journal's impact.
