Spirituality: The Holy Grail of contemporary nursing practice

This issue of Journal of Nursing Management is dedicated to understandings and applications of spirituality in nursing and implications for nursing management. It presents a wide and varied range of international papers written by authors working in diverse fields of nursing, health care practice and professional education. Collectively, the papers provide a rich, valuable and deep insight into the concepts of spirituality and spiritual care. The broad range of subjects addressed raise a number of conceptual, practical and educational challenges but more importantly they provide useful recommendations/solutions to assist nursing managers to understand, support and engage with the spiritual dimension of care.
