This counts for both loading and discharging seagoing vessels, as well as for sampling the material which is reloaded into river barges and railcars. This is to ensure that the most representative and reliable quality figures are obtained for each barge or train loaded. The sampling of a static stockpile is not recommended as it only gives an indication of the quality and size breakdown. Since there is no movement in the cargo, it is impossible to sample the stockpiled material in a representative way, and in this case, the analytical figures cannot be interpreted as binding final results for the whole stockpile.
