The following graph represents all rigs that are under contract now, in addition to those that have a future contract in place but are not under contract at the present time. As the graph demonstrates, total contracted utilisation for semis increased by 1% to 66% in February while jackups and drillships remained at the same level as January at 75% and 69% respectively. Currently there are 75 newbuild rigs on order, planned, and under construction worldwide: 18 drillships, 8 semis, and 49 jackups. Approximately 5% of these units have a future contract in place.
