In particular, two of ISWA's National Members contributed a phenomenal effort. Inspired by his Nicaraguan routes, David Biderman, CEO of ISWA's National Members in North America (SWANA), led a full year of fundrais-ing activities, culminating in the rousing fun-run at the 2017 ISWA World Congress in Baltimore, MD, where the Scholarship Programme was presented with a cheque for $40,000. Equalling these incredible efforts, ISWA's National Member in The Netherlands, NVRD, successfully raised an astonishing ?42,500 in a matter of hours during their annual conference last summer.
